How we Began

Bowberry Cats was formed approximately four years ago. Cheryl and her husband, Dave, have run their own business in the Clevedon area for around fourteen years and they met Tracy when she decided to relocate from London.

Bowberry Cats started due to Cheryl's keen interest and knowledge in both cats and breeding and Tracy's willingness to learn!.

Whilst we show occasionally, we have set ourselves a limit on the distances we will travel, but we hope to make our boys up to Champion in the not too distant future.

Our aim is to produce good quality kittens, with great temperament through selective breeding.

Bowberry Cats can be found in Clevedon, North Somerset, literally five minutes from Junction 20 of the M5 Motorway.

A Little About Bengal Cats

    
               

The British Shorthair is probably the oldest English breed of domestic cat. They have immense strength and have in the past been known for their hunting abilities, but equally valued for it's calm, almost wise demeanor and loyalty.

They definitely look before they leap. British Shorthair is one of the largest breeds of cat, with short, strong legs, a round head and large rounded eyes. Their coats are short and dense.

The Bengal is medium to large in size; they originate from the small Asian leopard cat mated with the domestic shorthair cat.They have beautiful coats, for which they are renowned, with wonderful markings, which can be brown spotted, brown marble, snow spotted and snow marble.The Bengal possesses a unique personality, are intelligent, lively and definitely interactive cats. They are very active and athletic but are also big softies who crave affection, purring in ecstasy on your lap!In all, the Bengal is an unusual beautiful cat that will enhance your life and home.
